I purchased the Microsoft Office from Amazon and am very happy with the purchase. It works like a charm and has been very useful. While I have used Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint in the past, I had never used Microsoft One Note. After using Microsoft One Note, I have started loving it. It has helped me keep my thoughts organized and is a well thought out product.

I would have loved to have “Microsoft Outlook” as part of package. This would have helped me manage appointments from within Microsoft One Note.

One user license would have worked better for me.

Nevertheless ‘Microsoft Office” is a wonderful product!

This brush works really well. It definitely is a “deshedding tool”. It is a little of a pain that I have to stop every 3-4 strokes to collect the hair to stick it in a bag or trash can otherwise clumps of hair get all over the place. There would be clumps floating around in my backyard. But then again I guess that means that it is getting all the loose hair out.

I purchased this bike from Dicks Sporting Goods. I am 5′10 and was concerned that it would be too small for my long limbs. However I test rode it at the store and was surprised at how perfect it felt, and fit! The size was just right. For all you tall people out there, don’t be discouraged if someone tells you that your legs are too long for this bike. Not true! I am a pretty long legged person and all my concerns were put to rest after I rode it. I purchased the 17″ frame with 26″ wheels, which is the largest size it comes in. Of course I had to raise up the seat a little, which was fine. As soon as I left the store I rode it on the trails for over an hour, and let me tell you…the ride was incredibly smooth and comfortable, and so much fun! The gear transition is very smooth when you shift them, and the brakes are strong. My favorite feature of this bike is the seat! It is a suspension seat and I love it because it is very comfy and you get a nice little bounce when you ride over bumps. Because it is a suspension seat you may want to raise it up just a little higher than normal because it sinks down just a touch when you sit on it. I never once experienced any back or shoulder strain! The handlebars are high enough and at the right length away so that you will not be hunched over when you ride. Please note that this bike does not come with a kickstand so you will have to purchase one. At Dicks it was $8 and they will put it on for you. To spice up the look of my bike I purchased the Avenir rear bike rack and the Avenir excursion rack top bag. I live near various shoppes and eating places and the bag can hold my stuff nicely if I want to grab something to go, and I can also put my purse and keys in there when I ride to free up my hands. I strongly suggest that if you purchase any accessories for your bicycle that requires assembly, let the technician put on for you before you take it home. It took the tech a good 20 minutes to put the rack on f

For what I paid, the product was satisfactory and in excellent condition. However, the Shipping & Handling fee was almost the price of the book which will be a consideration the next time. It took a long time to receive the book – almost a month.

I have gone through about 5 vacuums in the past 7 years. I have a combo of hard wood floors, tile, and carpet and rugs. I was nicely suprised that it had so much sucking power! Low pile rugs are a problem with this vacuum because it just sucks the rug up. Great on carpets and high pile rugs though. Not good on hard surfaced floors. As I was vacuuming the hard floors debris start to fly under the vacuum and hit me in the leg…ouch! I even adjusted the floor setting to bare floors and in between to see if it would help…nope. Using the attachments work better for sucking up things on the hard floors. Cord is a bit short and the vacuum in heavy. The main hose is a bit tough and doesn’t reach to far without the vacuum falling over. So far, I like the vacuum for the carpets but not for the hard floors. I have mixed reviews about this one…not completely happy but not completely dissapointed. If I were to give hoover advice I would say make the cord longer, the vacuum less heavy, the hose more flexible, and make it better on hard floors. I would give hoover kudos on the price and the suction power that it has. If you ONLY have carpet and high pile rugs I would highly suggest this vacuum!

I have owned my Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer for nearly four years and it still works like the day I received it! I have attached this pedometer to my sock, waistband, carried it in my pocket (shirt and pants) and it has been very accurate and durable! I have owned several pedometers and I must say this one is by far the most accurate and well constructed one I’ve used over the years..others have come and gone but my Omron HJ-112 has been and still is my favorite pedometer to date. I have changed my battery three or four times since purchasing it nearly four years ago…not bad considering that it is used daily!

Catcher in the Rye has many relevant meanings for the teenagers of today. Holden Caufield’s confusions and frustrations are those of most teenagers who want to connect with other people and belong to a certain social quota. J.D Salinger presents to us a novel full of symbolism, imagery, and adolescent complexity that fufills it’s overall goals of giving us a glimpse into the life and psyche of a troubled and disturbed teenager who tries making connections with people he doesn’t know ending up in, as mean as this may sound, humorous failed attempts. The overall theme in this novel doesn’t comply any moral as did Ovid’s fables back in ancient Greece. Catcher in the Rye tends to be more interpretive in that manner. Holden’s inability to truly connect with people is due to his inability to immature and let go of pain.
“People never notice anything” (Pg 9). It’s in this quote that we really see what type of person Holden really is. Nobody around Holden seems to understand him, seems to understand his angers and confusions. Everyone is just as about as “phony as he is”. It’s in these beginning chapters we notice that something is wrong with Holden. something that doesn’t quite match up. He’s a white male with well-off parents that can afford to send him off to boarding school and he purposefully flunks out by not even attempting to study. It’s not until later on in the novel that we learn of James Castle and his brother Allie that there is a reason for this rebellion and personal wall that he has erected for himself. It’s how Holden breaks this wall that makes this book powerful and a very compelling and humorous read.
