Looks good and bottom line, appears to be fairly accurate. I’ve yet to take it in with me and compare measured bodyweight between it and a professional scale but it can’t be far off. I really like the simplicity as well as the construction; looks like it’s built to last.

Great steamvac for the price. Much better then the Bissel Pro Cleaner. Very easy to use. Took me half the time to steam clean then it did with the Bissel. I was amazed at how much more dirt came up with the Hoover SteamVac. Very glad I bought it!

So I haven’t read this book in about 10 years. I just randomly decided that I want to start reading again to help add some imagery and metaphors into my song writing – believe me, reading does this. So literally 5 minutes ago, I did a google search for this book, and the first thing that pops up is that JD Salinger died yesterday, the article was created at right about the same time I was thinking of getting this book again. Fate? I dunno???

I understand some of the criticism, but does a book have to be a literary masterpiece to be immensely enjoyable? The overwhelming positive reviews explain why not.

It is well researched, but maybe the plot stretched a bit too far at times and low quality dialogues have taken away from the book’s otherwise star quality.

The depression era was well represented, gave a good realistic feel of the troubled times and the people. Circus setting was pure genius, and made it so interesting.

Overall, it is a very enjoyable book, very readable.

Lies mixed with truth…like poop mixed in brownies. Don’t believe it! I believe most of us have heard “beware of false prophets” and how Satan entices men to mix the truth with lies so that we believe the false beliefs of man. In this book we are certainly coaxed to believe in the IDEAS OF MAN. It is said that in the days to come “We will be led to believe that that which is evil is good, and that which is good, evil.” Well, those days are here and evident in this book. Mr. Donald even said in his interview with Larry King that he admitted that it definitely may have been his own subconscious mind “hearing” God and not the voice of God at all.
