It was a birthday present. All of us are thrilled and impressed with what this thing can do. It is a game changer at home and an ongoing conversation generator for us and our little lady.

Worked fine for the first few weeks. It is now IMPOSSIBLE to push in thick carpet. I am not sure how I will be able to use the warranty as the nearest service center is 50 miles away. It replaced another Hoover that also became very difficult to push in carpet. I am tired of buying vacuums that work for a few weeks/months and then stop working. I will be shopping for a different brand, one that has a local service shop where I can use the product’s warranty.

This strange tool is very useful. I highly recommend it. Don’t worry about hurting yourself when using this tool I have never had a problem using it. Anybody can learn how to use this thing in a few seconds given that a person has more than 2 brain cells to be able to figure out you should first squeeze it with your index finger when grabbing things.

I’ve waited a life time for a vacuum like the Hoover Tempo Widepath! I’ve purchased 4 in the last 8 years, and none of them could come close to the performance of this little darling. And, I can’t believe that it works so well, but costs so little. I never expected such a GREAT product at this price point! As wonderful as the Tempo is, it does have 2 small negatives. 1., the cord is too short, 2. the attachement hose is also too short, and it sucks-in on it’s self. Annoying…yes, but forgiveable because otherwise this vacuum sucks it’s butt off! Cat hair on my carpet is now a thing of the past!

Have purchased 3 kindles. 2 are first generation and now a second generation. No cover comes with it and that is a shame since it is a fragile item and needs protection. To have to buy a cover just jacks up the price and misleads. I have been the cause of at least 10 friends buying kindles. I always rave and recommend it.

The Defender is a great product and offers a much higher level of protection than any other case I’ve seen, but it’s not foolproof. I have probably dropped my iphone about 20 times since got it in Nov. However, on Christmas eve I had it laying in my lap and stood up. My iphone dropped to the tile floor and when I picked it up the LCD screen was white with blue and red lines running the length of the screen on the right side. I took it to a repair shop and had to have the screen replaced. I too have the oil slick issue but its not a big deal to me. The biggest problem is the reason that I have dropped it so much is that every time I have it in the belt clip and happen to bump the belt clip even with my arm or hand the phone will fall out of the clip. Since the screen replacement and the belt clip issue I just carry it in my pocket. I work construction and have pretty much ruined or broken every phone I’ve had, but thought that this case would maybe help this one survive. Sorry folks but the jury is still out.

I enjoyed the book and its women who reveal – at least on a supeficial level – the relationships between the races in the South in the 60’s. The characters take you by the hand and lead you through their lives, which are more closely entwined then even they might realize.

I have to say that when I ordered this, I thought that it looked “cutesy” and wondered about how useful it would be. It’s awesome! I ride a motorcycle and I have used it for small repairs–using bits that I would have a hard time finding while rummaging through the toolbox…I have used it for home repairs, too–it’s got every bit I can imagine and they are all organized and easy to access.
It is very easy to use, very convenient, and compact so it fits in the ever full junk drawer.
(And yes, it’s cute, too.)

Just about everyone knows the premise of Twilight. A teenage girl named Bella Swan moves to Forks, Washington and while there catches the eye of the hottest most mysterious guy in school. He has several secrets and she is determined to find them out and when she does a great love story ensues. She loves him and he loves her back while at the same time wanting to kill her in a horribly bloody way to drink her sweet, sweet blood. It is all very romantic.

Now let me just say this up front. While the sentence structures might be simple and the characterization, dialogue, and diction severely lacking the book is a solid piece of literature. It gets young people reading, and while the messages might not be entirely up to snuff with modern day strides in women’s rights, the book grabs and holds the interest of young people and among a generation that is reading less and less I think this is very important. It may not be great literature, it may not be enlightening or even empowering for the young women that read it; but for what it is, escapist romance, it does its job for its target audience very well.

I have a lot of problems with the book obviously. Nothing that just about everyone else has probably already said better than I can ever say it but here goes. As far as the mechanics of the book goes the characterization of both main characters really just sketch out empty shells for you to fill with whomever you might wish. Bella is defined almost entirely by her relationship with Edward. Edward is left almost completely in the dark and I’m assuming (hoping?) he will be fleshed out more beyond his amazing beauty and perfection in a future book. The dialogue was not very inspired or snappy. I’ve read even duller dialogue, I’ve read better too though. It was nothing to get excited over though. The diction, and by this I mean the vocabulary of the book, seemed very limited. We are told at least twenty or more times (I lost count after that) about Edward’s angelic face. Snap
