Marco Polo Christmas Tie to you
After reading the reviews I was excited to order such a great product for the price. My only “concern” was that this scale only measures in .2 pound increments, whereas my old Weight Watchers scale measured in .1 pound increments, which I really liked. Then again, my WW scale also would weigh me anywhere within a five pound range no matter how many times I stepped on in a row, so I figured it was worth giving up the smaller increments.
At first I was really impressed, until I realized that I always weighed EXACTLY the same thing, even though I knew I should’ve been losing. So I picked up a 21 pound weight (actually, my dog) and weighed, then got back on the scale without the dog. Sure enough, the measured weight after “fooling” the scale was a full 1.5 pounds less than before. I have since come to realize that every morning I have to weigh, pick up a heavy object and weigh, and then weigh again without the object. It’s as though the scale gets “stuck” or something and you have to give it a kick in the pants for it to work.
I do like how sturdy the scale is, the nice backlit display, and the good looks. It’s still a good product for the money, but I would prefer to avoid doing the “triple weigh” every morning. So would the dog.
