Book: Artemis Fowl
Author: Eoin Colfer
By: Marshall Cartwright
Would you like to be a criminal mastermind? Well by the time he was thirteen Artemis was. Artemis beat chess champion Evan Kashogi on an online chess tournament with a prize of over 140,000 pounds, he forged a lot paintings that sold all around the world for almost 1 million pounds each, and was involved with the goblins population increase. Artemis also stole a substantial amount of gold from the Lower Elements Police. They are the fairy people.
Artemis now rules the criminal empire from California to Berlin.
But Artemis does not know what he is dealing with when he captures a fairy captain from the Lower Elements police. Then Artemis must overcome many other things that could lead to the end of his life. In the book Artemis fights wars with fairies and triumphs with trolls. As the fairy captain trys to get out of Artemis’s cages and traps, the fairies do all they can to stop Artmis, including trying to blow him up with a bomb.
You will love this book! It is breath taking and it will be like watching a movie from the details Eoin Colfer gives. After every chapter comes a cliff hanger and after every page you read comes a feeling like the book is telling you to read on.

I purchased the Forerunner 305 as a gift for my husband, a triathlete. I truly cannot overstate how much he LOVES training with it. Having only seen pictures online when I placed my order, I was a little worried that it would look really large on the wrist, but it doesn’t at all. The amount of information the Forerunner provides an athlete is amazing. My husband says it has really enabled him to train more efficiently.

I have never written a review before, but could NOT stop myself this time. I have been a skeptic of home carpet cleaners for years, convinced in my own mind that they could never be as effective at cleaning and extracting as the truck mounted steam units we used to schedule to come clean carpets. Each trip was over $100 for just a couple of rooms, and with six – eight hours for drying, it was an ordeal. The last few times I had the company come, I found areas of saturation in some places, areas that were virtually dry in others when they were gone. It seemed they were in and out of my house in twenty minutes, just having basically “swiped” my carpets quickly and left. I began to wonder if I would ever enjoy clean carpets again.
Then I visited my brother at his out of town home, having planned the trip well in advance. He is a hoarder, basically, with kids and dogs to boot, so I was used to his carpets looking more like dirt than carpets. Imagine my surprise when I arrived and the house was cleaned up and his carpet looked fantastic! I asked him how he did it, and he pointed to his Hoover spin scrub carpet cleaner. I decided it was time to take the plunge. I researched over and over the available models and chose the F5914-900. I picked it up at Walmart and brought it home.
True to the word, in 15 minutes and with a screwdriver, I had it assembled. I cleaned my carpets according to the directions, and waited for the ultimate test. The ultimate test, in my mind, would be this: Once the carpets were dry, I would vacuum with my Kenmore Intelli-clean vacuum. This vacuum has sensors that cause lights to flash (red for really dirty, yellow when it gets better, etc.) when you are vacuuming and picking up dirt and debris. When all dirt and debris is gone, the lights go green and the motor slows, telling you to move on to another area to clean. I had vacuumed after Stanley Steemer many times and had never acheived the green lights. I waited only a couple

I bought the Kindle 1 and loved the scope of the content offered by Amazon and the convenience of carrying numerous books with me overseas. When I lost the device, it was with great anticipation that I purchased a Kindle 2 in February of 2009. However, the screen malfunctioned in October of 2009 and I got a replacement unit from Amazon as it was still under warranty. Now, it is June of 2010 and the replacement Kindle has the same malfunctioning screen – the white background becomes very dark gray making it nearly impossible to read. Because the warranty is only 1 year, it will cost $135 plus shipping and handling for a refurbished unit.
In my limited experience, the average lifespan of a Kindle 2 is only 7 months.

Wow! Hi Def Telephoto 3x
This is a very good step tracker. I bought it for a fitness walking program at work. It tracks your steps very well without being over sensitive. It takes a bit to set it up but once the setup is complete, it is very easy to use. Seven day memory is a plus.
