While not much of a cook myself, I couldn’t help but get caught up in the fun of planning a party with Serena! You feel as if she’s right in the kitchen with you, making a suggestion here or there, arranging flowers and candles, and welcoming your guests. The recipes are delicious, yet not in the least bit intimidating, as Ms. Bass quite literally takes you by the hand and guides you each step of the way.
