I purchased this bike from Dicks Sporting Goods. I am 5′10 and was concerned that it would be too small for my long limbs. However I test rode it at the store and was surprised at how perfect it felt, and fit! The size was just right. For all you tall people out there, don’t be discouraged if someone tells you that your legs are too long for this bike. Not true! I am a pretty long legged person and all my concerns were put to rest after I rode it. I purchased the 17″ frame with 26″ wheels, which is the largest size it comes in. Of course I had to raise up the seat a little, which was fine. As soon as I left the store I rode it on the trails for over an hour, and let me tell you…the ride was incredibly smooth and comfortable, and so much fun! The gear transition is very smooth when you shift them, and the brakes are strong. My favorite feature of this bike is the seat! It is a suspension seat and I love it because it is very comfy and you get a nice little bounce when you ride over bumps. Because it is a suspension seat you may want to raise it up just a little higher than normal because it sinks down just a touch when you sit on it. I never once experienced any back or shoulder strain! The handlebars are high enough and at the right length away so that you will not be hunched over when you ride. Please note that this bike does not come with a kickstand so you will have to purchase one. At Dicks it was $8 and they will put it on for you. To spice up the look of my bike I purchased the Avenir rear bike rack and the Avenir excursion rack top bag. I live near various shoppes and eating places and the bag can hold my stuff nicely if I want to grab something to go, and I can also put my purse and keys in there when I ride to free up my hands. I strongly suggest that if you purchase any accessories for your bicycle that requires assembly, let the technician put on for you before you take it home.
