The Help by Kathryn Stockett was one of the best-written books I have read in an age. Mindful of its hype, I stepped in hoping it would make a passable plane read. It certainly did. I read it in the 9 hours from Austria to Toronto. The vernacular of the two contrasting African American maids and the southern white woman who records their circumstances and stories is nothing short of amazing. Stockett permeates her book with a strong emotional conscious reflective of her own experience with her own maid. At once heart-warming, tragic and amusing, the book holds all the yo-yo ups-and-downs of real life. Moreover, it boasts a contextual relevance and inspires a frightening realization that the history so painfully rendered in the novel is not so far off.

This activity mat was expensive (I bought it full price at almost $60) but there is a lot of usage in it. I started using it with my baby when she was 2 months old, she enjoyed seeing the colorful toys above her. As she grew, she loved being on her tummy with the colorful mat, especially the crinkling leaf. The attached toys were excellent themselves and I used them to clip onto her carseat and crib. Only when she could finally get up and crawl did she tire of the mat.
My only criticism is of the “musical” toy that dangles. It does have a switch on/off which is great. However, the volume of the music is LOUD! Many a dark night I tried to tiptoe past it and had a heart attack when I accidentally tapped the toy & the music blasted. ALso, the sun-mirror comes off easily and is hard to prop up.
Again, this is well worth it and a well designed toy for any infant.

I had an earlier model of this friction mount and it was bigger and bulky. However it did its job. I was surprised when I opened the package. It was small, did an excellent job of staying on the dash and easily stored in our dodge minivan secondary storage compartment. Good design and versatile.

It’s fine, the in store markup is really that much. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cable. Order it right now, then pat yourself on the back for not falling for the kid’s sales pitch.

I could not put this book down! I am in my 30’s and started to read this as recommended by a friend. I loved it. I got everyone in the office to read it and my Mom- she’s very picky and in her 60’s. They all are hooked! Must read before seeing the movie.

While I do like the look of the mobile I don’t like the actual action of the mobile. It makes a clicking sound everytime the little flowers twirl and I find that to be annoying. I also wish the music had 3 volumes as both are rather loud. The little light is nice. I also wish the music had two options for how long it plays. My daugter likes this product (she is 10 weeks) when she is awake and alert, it does not help to put her to sleep though.

When my 5-month old first saw this, he was so amazed!! He plays with it for a long time. He loves touching the tiny butterfly, it makes a ruffling sound that he loves. It is good entertainment for an infant.

My husband and are going to teach english abroad and thought this would be a helpful tool to bring along. We will be able to store music, pictures and have easy access to any important documents we save on here. It has been great so far allowing us to have quick and easy Internet access during this process of getting everything together. The only thing it is missing is flash, but there are so many apps that are out now that allow access without flash. We highly recommend this product to anyone who is on the fence!

Without a doubt the best money that we have spent on our precious little one. This keeps her happy while I have to do the things that need to be done around the house. Honestly, this mobile has created more time to get things done during daytime hours. Must have!!!
