I love Want To Know Kids
The first time I heard about this book was about two or three years ago when my cousin told me this was “soooo gooood!” and I had to read it. I didn’t at first because I knew it was in the Young Adult section of the bookstore and I am always a bit iffy about that section.
Then, once the movie came out and there was this huge craze that followed, I definitely didn’t want to read the books because I try to not get sucked into all the hype.
This past Thanksgiving, I saw that another one of my cousins had the books and I asked her if I could borrow the first book so I could find out what all this mess was about. I definitely didn’t want to waste my money if the books turned out to be as dumb as I thought they would be.
So, on the car ride home I started reading … and reading… and reading … I found that I couldn’t put the book down! When I wasn’t reading, I was thinking about the book and how I wished I could be reading. True this is no mind bending, life changing work of literature, but I found it to be quite addictive and I don’t know why!
As soon as I finished the first book, I ran out to Wal-mart and bought the other three books because I couldn’t wait to have them shipped to me from Amazon.
By the end of the next week, I had finished all the books!
I hate my self a little for getting sucked into these books, but I just found them so entertaining and addictive.

About Buddy Kids Bicycle Bike
The battery life leaves a lot to be desired when connected to wifi. (Two stars.)
All that’s included with the Touch is a USB cable, some kind of adapter thing for using it with an ipod compatible “boom box”, and two Apple logos (why, I don’t know). For what they charge they could have easily included a wall-charger and a car-charger. (no stars)
The only interface with Windows is through iTunes. iTunes works OK, but why not allow drag/drop from Windows Explorer? It would make the Touch much easier to deal with. (no stars)
When I received it from Amazon, it was in a box with no packing material whatsoever. It was flopping around in the box! It seems to be OK though. (no stars)

I bought this pedometer for my mother who has since taken up walking long distances. This is an excellent pedometer but make sure you correctly measure your stride distance before putting it to use. I found that if your measurements are off – so is the pedometer’s way of counting your steps. I guess it’s good that it’s so sensitive and precise. The extra choice of clipping the pedometer to you is better than only having the option of placing it on your belt.

Where to get American Heart Association Kids
I’ve just read the first one and am off to devour the second. Despite the fact that he’s 12, Artemis Fowl is funny, smart, and encompasses all the human failings an adult story should. I especially enjoyed Butler, with his obsessive need to protect his charge and his wickedly effective and funny ways of doing it. Juliet, his sister, annoyed me but added to the overall effect of the Fowl household.
Holly Short, the fairy LEP officer kidnapped by Artemis, was far from the all-knowing fairy folk we’re used to, and in fact this story makes consistent fun of many of the old tales. Makes fun of and expands on their stories, actually, producing a new world to enjoy.
The supporting cast is generally well-rounded, if a bit stereotyped and I hope Mr. Colfer will expand on each of them. All in all, very enjoyable and I look forward to the rest of the series.
