The omron pedometer is the best I have used. It is accurate and does not count every jiggle. This is the second one I have bought. The first one lasted for several years.

I have been disabled for over 6 years thus unable to properly care for my carpet. My health has improved to the point I can work from a rolling chair and I read various reviews about this product before making my final decision. The reviews that stated this machine could clean carpets that were unattended for years and they came out sparkling clean won me over. The set up was easy (even I can do it) and the results are unbelievable. I had a stain from when my daughter was 4 that would not come out & it’s gone! Gone, Gone, Gone. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone who has a challenge in both a dirty carpet and a challenge in mobility. I can move it from my chair. Fill up and clean up is a breeze. I give it 5 stars…would give it 10 if it went higher.

Two Christmases ago, my aunt got me this book for my birthday. I was already plenty skeptical about Twilight because it was extremely overrated, but I figured I might as well give it a shot. So I did. That night, I started reading it. And I kept reading it. Finally, I finished it, and I had lost pretty much all faith in humanity.
What is it about this book that’s so friggin’ appealing? It’s absolutely terrible! The writing is mediocre, the story itself nearly bored me to tears (look, I LOVE vampire stories, but what the hell was this? Vampires that SPARKLE? I mean, REALLY!?), and the characters…oh my God, the characters. I cannot for the life of me figure out what makes ANYONE like the characters in this disaster. Bella has got to be the absolute worst. Not only is her NAME cliched, but her entire character is just…ugh! She is the most boring, unoriginal heroine I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading about. She’s supposedly perfect and pretty and every other positive trait under the sun, but she’s constantly wallowing in her misery about how much her life sucks and blah blah blah. Give it a rest. Needless to say, I despise Bella’s character.
And, of course…there’s Edward.
Edward. Effing. Cullen.
And I thought BELLA was disgusting. How can girls all over the world be lusting after this freak? He’s A STALKER! I mean, he sneaks into Bella’s room and watches her sleep? He controls her like a freaking puppet? If my boyfriend did that, I wouldn’t be flattered, I’d be horrified! How Bella can actually enjoy this attention is beyond me.
So the writing, plot and characters are all terrible, and yet, nothing compares to the nature of Edward and Bella’s relationship. Everywhere I go, girls are constantly gushing over Edward and Bella’s love, saying it’s the sweetest thing they’ve ever read. GAG ME. There is no love OR chemistry between Bella Sue and Edward Stu. It revolves around lust, for God’s sake! What’s the reason Edward fell in love with Bella, exactly? Her

After my 12-13 year old Eureka finally started showing it’s age while still doing a decent job, I bought the Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum, Bagged, U5140-900 from a local Do It Best Hardware store– I figured the few extra dollars it cost at the store was worth the convenience, in case I needed to return it. As a test, I first vacuumed my 3-room apartment using my “suficient” old Eureka, and then re-vacuumed with the new Hoover. Although my old vacuum seemed to perform better than it had in months (as though it somehow “knew” it was being compared to it’s new replacement), when I re-vacuumed with the Hoover, it sounded like I was vacuuming the parking lot. I couldn’t believe all the sand and dirt I heard it picking up!
I had been hesitant to buy this particular vacuum, because of reviewers’ complaints of it being too loud and made of cheap plastic, and needing frequent bag/belt replacements. Although it’s not a quiet machine, it’s not as loud as my regular-sounding Eureka was. In fact, my cat (who always runs and hides when I vacuum) actually stayed in her cat bed and watched as I ran the Hoover for the first time. Who says vacuuming is supposed to be a quiet chore, anyway??? Yes, the attachments are plastic, but no flimsier than the Eureka’s, which I found to be more than adequate. The Hoover’s plastic body helps keep it light-weight, yet it’s sturdy enough for the job. I’ve only had the Hoover for 13 days, and I’ve used it 3 times– haven’t broken a belt nor filled a bag, but when the time comes, I will probably order replacements from Amazon, as I believe the prices were lower when compared to WalMart. The vacuum came (from the store) with 3 bags, which may need to be replaced often only by virtue of the fact that this machine picks up so much dirt! The light-weight construction and strong suction make this model very easy to use and virtually self-propelled.
