The wii is a fun family system for having fun. I’m the profiler’s son so I am a hard core gamer the wii isn’t much for me. The wii has lots of great party games but they aren’t realistic enough. I have a an easy time playing the wii so it gets boring. I would choose the wii for young families that has not had a lot of time together. Now like I s Wii Play with Wii Remoteaid I am a hardcore gamer. I would pick a Xbox 360, or a PS3. The wii has a lot of fun games that come out from time to timebut the wii isn’t good enough to reach hardcore gaming. The wii is a fun choice, but if your family is a hardcore gamer family I would choose an Xbox 360, or a PS3.

bought this cleaner and began using it the same day…..cleans very well, but the handle broke on the second day….very frustrating…was loose to begin with; feel this is a defect in the manufacturing….had to take to dealer to fix under warranty….

I have had this pedometer for 3 weeks and it works great. I have had many cheap pedometers before and they always start to count less and less steps which is very frustrating. This one also allows you to leave it in your pocket so the world does not realize that you are step counting dork. Plus, at midnight, it resets back to zero, so the next morning you don’t even have to remember to do that (you can still see what you have done on previous days). The only thing that you might want to know before buying is that it will only add steps if you are walking for more than four seconds. Those first seconds are still counted, but only after you have been walking for five seconds (I think this is to eliminate false counts), but as my five stars shows, I have not noticed a problem with that. In fact, I love to shock my friends by violently shaking it and showing them that no steps were added.

I have had this model for a few years now and it has never had any problems. The only gripe is the heart rate is impossible to read, it is a tiny tiny font in the upper right corner of the screen instead of a bold number in a block like the mile or time. The harness is comfortable and when you plug it in and download your daily activities it tells you everything you did, how fast, heart rate, even a gps map of where you were! I even used it to go Geo-cacheing! lol! All in all it is an excellent workout tool and worth the money.
Room for Improvement Change

I never write reviews, but when I saw how many five stars there were in comparison to one stars, I had to support those fellow readers who disliked this book as much as me. I was hooked by the time period and the circus idea, and I was looking forward to being drawn into that world, but the author did not deliver on either of those points at all. I felt like she created a pretty shabby structure for her novel by throwing a bunch of “well researched” pieces of information together. She then attempted to flesh in a story around this rickety structure with hollow, card-board, characters. The voice of young Jacob is meant to carry us through the story of the past, but I felt nothing for him or anyone else in the story. The relationships were so very empty, there were no reasons for anyone to have any connection to anybody else. I was not interested or invested in a single character. I kept reading in the hope that something would change, but it never did. It’s really too bad when an idea that has such potential turns out be such a disappointment. Why on earth so many raved about this book is beyond me. Maybe it’s the same reason crappy movies do so well at the box office…the general public have no clue about what’s really worthy of our time, attention, and praise.
The Listener In The

Allow me to pile on to the mountain of positive reviews. First off, I researched this purchase quite a bit, and was swayed by the number of great reviews on Amazon. Gotta love the Internet! So I give this 5 STARS! It works very well, cleans up a lot of dirt, and it really does pick up LOTS of water so the carpet is just slightly damp, and not wet, when you’re done. Do a couple extra dry strokes! The “heated cleaning” feature routes the hot engine exhaust downward into the carpet – I’m sure this helps dry it a little more too than without that feature. Yes, the tank is “small” but it is a tradeoff – if you want a giant water tank then you have to maneuver a heavy beast around. I’d rather have something that is maneuverable and I will change the water a couple extra times. Its not like I’ll be cleaning carpets every day or every week.

My spouse was ready to throw away our expensive wool Pottery Barn throw rug that is 10 yrs old because it was “gross”. After 2 consecutive lashings with this Hoover Bad Boy (1 night, let dry, then again 2nd night) the carpet looks and feels new. Seriously. Actually better than new because its a little softer now. Hoover just saved me from having the spouse spend another gazillion dollars on a new rug.

I think if you research you’ll uncover these points but just keep in mind

1) there are SEVERAL VERSIONS of this machine, slightly different model numbers, at WalMart, Kohls, etc. The F5914-900 is the one with BOTH carpet attachments. (the Walmart one doesnt have the powered hand tool, the Kohls one is older and doesnt have the SpinScrub brushes underneath the machine, etc). I found that BestBuy and Menards carried the “real” 5914-900, but Amazon had the best price.

2) USE REAL carpet extractor shampoo as its low-sudsing and won’t leave a sticky residue in the carpet. Don’t cheap out and use a dash of Palmolive, and I wouldn’t even use Tide etc as some others suggest as I don’t think it will rinse out of the carpet in

Nice enough e-reader but the inability to access library books is a bummer. Why “buy” a book and not be able to share it. I can loan a hard copy of a purchased book to anybody. This product is way to restrictive. I returned it! Amazon e-books are very expensive. I don’t get it….no printing or distribution cost.
