I would highly reccommend this pump. This Pump is well deserving the money.
I knew I wanted a Medela, but some of their pumps count in at 8 hammers , and I knew I didn’t want anything that NEEDED to use the complimentary “stylish backpack “. When I ascertained the Swing, and read the reviews, I knew it was what I wanted. It is nearly every bit compact as hand pumps, but employs the same two stage natural process as the more expensive Medela Pump. It is comfortable to use , I’ve had no problems with leaking out, it appears more efficient and generally I merely really like this pump. You can use double A batteries to powerfulness it, which is large if you are locomoting ( Drome? Camping?) The best part though, came about five second ago when I took in that the yarns on the Swing match the yarns on dope Airvent bottles that are the lonesome 1s we can get Doctor of Divinity to use! ! No more random bottles, and no more pumping in to one container and then streaming into another container to use! .
The Swing Pump is very nice since you can adjust the quantity of sucking to your liking. I does not hurt like all the Medical Level 1s I have essayed and bought. It is not as noisy as some have evoked . I makes the same quantity of noise that any electrical pump relieves oneself . And the lonesome reason that milk gets sucked up in the tube is if the white membrane sticks and doesn’t let the milk free fall into the bottle (so you have to help it not stick by manually forcing the flap spread a couple of times until the milk flows by itself). And that can be a reason why the sucking is not every bit good also (the membrane may be worn out and needs exchanging). I have had to speak with many lactation nurses and I use Olive Oil on my tits before I pump so that it doesn’t irretate my nipples when pumping (makes it smoother not as rough ). I also massage my white meats as I pump. This is a MAJOR reason why some adult females can not bring about every bit practically when they pump. If you use the “C ” method of keeping your breast to massage them (or any method you find comfortable , it may expect a couple of different ways ) you will get a great deal more milk in a great deal less sentence. I produce more milk than many adult females who nurse only. I know this is because of two reasons , I drink a long ton of water and I massage my white meats while pumping. I pump about 40 troy ounces a day . As for the power cord rupture, I have not had this problem. The cord does come out of the undersurface and solemnity does exist therefore use magnetic tape to hold the cord in place if you have that problem. Likewise another quick musical note , I can pump and case on my electronic computer at the same time even when I am massaging my white meat. Get a tall bottle to pump into so you can prop up it on your leg and use one handwriting to massage and the other is free to do whatever. Or use an old tubing top, cut a little slit in it and it will hold the bottle in place will you pump.
