I enjoyed the book and its women who reveal – at least on a supeficial level – the relationships between the races in the South in the 60’s. The characters take you by the hand and lead you through their lives, which are more closely entwined then even they might realize.

Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1)
I found this book interesting. Contrary to the teachings of The Holy Bible, the author claims that satan is a “myth,” that Jesus was only a great person (no mention of “Savior”), and seemed to imply that the “things written down 2000 years ago” are open to debate. My questions is this: If all these things written 2000 years ago about God and Jesus were true, WHY would God, in “speaking with Mr. Neale Donald Walsch (as he claims)”, suddenly reverse his previous statements about satan, the validity of the Bible, and the absolute sovereignty of Christ?
I am a skeptic, and I like to think I have an open mind. This book was recommended to me by a colleague. However, I could not help but thinking that Mr. Walsch definitely has a “profit motive” in his writings. “If the item sells, continue to write.” Never mind it may be misinformation. Mr. Walsh, I hope you get this “God thing” right- your eternity may depend on it.
Please reference “Evidence that Demands a Verdict,” by Josh McDowell. A professed athiest that became a Christian because of his research. Go figure.

Cleverly disguised as concern and professions of faith, this book will teach you to loathe your gay child and to don a mantle of silent, superior suffering. You will be taught to ignore your child’s professions of happiness and to remain smugly sure — regardless of your child’s age — that you know what is in their hearts and what can’t possibly make them happy. You will be told to grieve, not celebrate, when your child is honest with you. Censure, kidnapping, ostracism, brainwashing — these are the “appropriate” responses that this book will teach you all because your child trusts you enough to say, “I’m gay.”

The appropriate response to this book — full of discredited “research” — is not to buy it. Instead, sit down and talk with your child about what they want from life, what makes them happy and how you can HELP them get there. Let your love show. Leave the judgement to God.

I bought this for my son’s birthday and he loves it. It hardly needs to be said that this is a great product and is easy and fun to use. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t have an iPhone and just wants to listen to music or watch videos and have access to the web. Great product!

The Help is an eye opener for someone who grew up and lived in the North all her life. I had no idea Southern girls could be so cruel to the maids , or to each other. I lived in a town where no black people lived and was hardly aware of the civil rights movement until much later in life. This book was really very good for me.

Oh, oh, oh!!! What a book!!! The best so far of the ones I have read this year. Beautifully written with the right phonetic words. Full of history in a fictional narrative!!! Kathryn, I can’t hardly wait for your next book. Keep telling us about Ms. Skeeter, her family, her life and the life of “the help”.

I was purchasing a used iPod 3rd Gen in Very Good condition and the product arrived exactly as expected. It came with new earbuds but did not have the mic feature. That is the only unexpected item. However, that rated so low on my overall satisfaction, it’s hardly worth mentioning. I am very happy with the unit.

I have owned my Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer for nearly four years and it still works like the day I received it! I have attached this pedometer to my sock, waistband, carried it in my pocket (shirt and pants) and it has been very accurate and durable! I have owned several pedometers and I must say this one is by far the most accurate and well constructed one I’ve used over the years..others have come and gone but my Omron HJ-112 has been and still is my favorite pedometer to date. I have changed my battery three or four times since purchasing it nearly four years ago…not bad considering that it is used daily!

I owned one of the original kindles. I fell asleep on an airplane and it fell out of my hand and hit the arm rest cracking the screen. When I stopped for the 2 hr layover I had, I ordered a global kindle from Amazon. Since I was on my way to Mexico I had it shipped to my condo there. It arrived safely and with the use of the NEW global capabilities the tech support gentleman at Amazon wirelessly sent all of my downloaded books to my new Kindle. I love it and your customer service is great.
